Welcome back....I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! My family had a blast! We hung out around the house and did our own little firework show.

My mom's results were positive so we will be headed down the road of chemo once she heals from the surgery so if I am out this will be why. We are very hopeful though!

Unfortunately, another friend has left our room....Jaylon's last day was last Tuesday. We wish him the best! Our new friend Lily will be starting soon, watch for more on the that.

I'm sure you have seen our latest addition in the room....our fish. I have just gotten a new tank and all the works so we can set it up so the children can see them all the time. Wish me luck...this is the first time I ever done the fish thing! We voted on names last week and this is what we got.....Rocko and Pizza Head (that one's thanks to Mike, I tried to skip over that one but he voted for it too!). We were only supposed to have two so I am not sure what to do with the other ones. I bought a really small tank because I wasn't sure how well this was going to go but we are going to try it. They made it over the weekend so they should be fine but we'll see.

We are doing Leo Lionni books this week. Today we read Inch by Inch and we talked about measuring with inches. We made our own rulers and we also measured ourselves!
